Malabaracirco offers an extensive
training programme of courses and workshops in circus
skills: juggling, manipulation and balancing, acrobatics,
aerials, clown, movement and physical theatre.
The
learning, practice and theatrical use of circus skills
provide countless benefits for the participant involved
in these activities. The discipline we need to improve
in any sport or physical activity is coupled with freer
creative and imaginative processes associated with the
performing arts.
This learning process helps our self esteem, self confidence
and teamwork apart from developing our sense of balance,
rhythm and co-ordination.
Over the years Malabaracirco has developed a
comprehensive programme of courses and workshops
in circus skills and physical theatre. Our programme
includes a wide range of formats from 1-2 hour “taster”
workshops through intensive week-end specialisation
courses to term-long foundation courses.
